Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent or buy for a certain dollar amount in various LA ‘hoods. We’ve found five rentals within $100 of today’s price, $3,000.

↑ Down in San Pedro, this adorable three-bedroom, two-bathroom house has more than just the advantage of 1,425 square feet of space. It also features a bright, galley-style kitchen, some cute built-ins, and a detached garage. The rent is $2,900.
